Guided Alaska Hunts & Fishing Trips
Our Alaskan Outfitter offers fully guided hunting trips for Kodiak Brown Bear, Mountain Goats and Sitka Black-tailed deer. All hunting trips are guided 1x1 and take place on Kodiak Island.
Kodiak Brown Bear Hunts

Kodiak island bear hunts take place in the spring and in the fall. All hunts are fully guided, one on one, and trips average 10 to 12 days in length. During the spring hunts (April to mid-May), Kodiak Brown Bears are emerging from hibernation and their hides are in prime condition. Weather is unpredictable, with temperatures ranging from 20 degrees to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. It is common to spot and stalk a Kodiak Brown Bear above the snow level, which can start at 1,000 feet.
The fall hunts (Oct 25 - Nov 30) find cooler weather, 15 degrees to 45 degrees Fahrenheit, and most Brown Bears have returned to higher elevation after spending the summer months feeding along salmon streams.
- 11 Day Hunt $16,0000
Mountain Goat Hunts

The goat population on Kodiak Island is at an all time high. Goat hunting takes place in September and October. All goat hunts are fully guided. Although goat hunting is physically demanding, the chances of harvesting a mature billy are extremely high. During your goat hunt, a Sitka Black-tailed Deer can also be taken on a trophy fee basis.
- 6 Day Hunt $7,000
- Deer Trophy Fee $750
Sitka Black-tailed Deer Hunts
Sitka Black-tailed Deer hunts on Kodiak Island are popular for seasoned trophy hunters and novices alike. All deer hunts are fully guided. The prime hunting time is late October and November, which coincides with the rut. Earlier hunt dates take place in August and September. During this time the deer are in the higher elevations from 1,500 feet and up. It is not uncommon to find large bachelor groups of bucks. These early hunts can also be combined with fishing and wildlife viewing.
- 6 Day Hunt $4,200
